Lifestyle coach, wealth strategist, published author, high-vibin' autoimmune warrior!
Are you about to self-publish your book and trying to figure out how to start advertising it effectively in a way that won't break the bank?
Do you sell products, or offer courses or coaching, and want some creative, economical ways to get your website (and business offerings) seen by more people, even those who aren't on social media?
When my debut book went to #1 Best Seller on Amazon in 2 categories (Lupus & Rheumatism), and #1 Hot New Release in 4 categories within the first month, even other AUTHORS started asking me what I was doing.
Then I UPPED MY OWN GAME with my collaboration, Absolute Will, that went #1 Best Seller in NINE categories across 3 countries and #1 New Release in THIRTY-ONE categories across 4 countries, just in the first few weeks after launching!
$47 CDN ~ approximate $38 US (price is set in Canadian dollars and the US cost may fluctuate by a dollar or two depending on the daily exchange rate.)
The first 30-day period is extra important in a book launch because it's when you can be a "New Release" - whenever you can hit a #1 ranking it helps others take notice of your book and they'll want to buy it too!
It's one thing to put your book in multiple categories on KDP Amazon, but in order to hit the ranks you want, and maybe even get a coveted #1 Best Seller orange badge, you need to actually SELL books AND have them in the most ideal categories!
ONE YEAR later my debut autoimmune book has not fallen out of the top 10 in Lupus, and is regularly back in the #1 and #2 Best Seller spots in the Lupus category regularly because I keep up with the things I talk about in this course. (Amazon rankings change HOURLY.) It was also back into the #1 Best Seller position in the Rheumatism category in late June (3.5 months after publishing). I was unable to rely on doing the "usual" Amazon ads that authors use because of the type of book mine is (it's about wellness, and Amazon declined my ad) so I immediately turned to my tried and true marketing skills from my business degree and 2 decades of being an entrepreneur.
In this course I use examples from my former grooming shop business, my bareback pad (horse tack) company, my mortgage lending role, and my book marketing experience to give you a wide range of examples to learn from and apply to whatever type of business you are in.
I also walk you through what sites and platforms I'm using to talk about my products/services, why it matters to understand your customer, and what types of product/business messaging people will resonate with most.
This course covers MUCH MORE than just book marketing for authors. It's for anyone selling something - whether it be a product, service, course, one-on-one coaching or group coaching packages. If you want to promote your "thing" and are on a tight budget, I've got you covered!
The course includes a printable PDF workbook, the course lessons are absolutely jam-packed full of tips, insider info, and lots of my own business examples, as well as several 3-8 minute demonstration videos as part of the course content.
Links to additional outside websites are also included as "live" (clickable) links for efficient use of your time.
"I literally got to the end in one sitting and then started implementing the steps relevant to me."
"My favorite part is the final checklist of critical steps on the last page. It's normal to have information overload from a course and perhaps forget some important parts; this checklist with its highlighted priorities ensures that does not happen and serves as a great reminder of where to focus your energy."
"This is such a great course!"
"Jo's methodical no-nonsense approach is refreshing. If you've had enough of other books, courses, and webinars that flout concepts and theories - and you can no longer see the (marketing) forest for the trees - you will love how she has encapsulated the actions for you."
